OUR UNIQUE SUMMER TRIP
Discover the Amazigh Mountains in an excursion designed for the hot season!
Immerse yourself in a simplified version of our day hike, specially designed for the summer period when the thermometer can quickly rise. The summer hike was designed for travelers visiting Agadir during the summer season and wishing to get away from the coast for a day to find the calm of the mountains and discover the Amazigh culture. Departure is early to take advantage of the ""cool"" hours of the day. Perfect for groups of friends or families with children, this approximately 3-hour walking adventure takes you on easy trails with multiple breaks to appreciate the scenery and hydrate. A gourmet tea break with our local host will delight your taste buds with its delicious olive oil, honey from its beehives and its incredible amlou (Berber nutella), before a refreshing break in the natural swimming pools to recharge the batteries before continuing the Ballad.
Simo and Redouane, our passionate local guides, will share their knowledges about local wildlife and flora, opening up the possibility of seeing certain animals in the region! Hello chameleons and other animals out when it's hot 😉
Detailed program :
🌄 09:00: Pick-up from your hotel/rental for an adventure-filled day. Allow around 45 minutes of driving to get to the start of the hike. Stop to visit an argan oil cooperative on the road if desired.
🥾 10 a.m.: Start of hiking on trails far from tourists.
💦 11:00 a.m.: Refreshing break in the natural swimming pools.
🍽️ 12:00 a.m.: Gourmet tea and tasting of local products with our local host Abdoullah in the shade of the argan tree.
🏞️ 2 p.m.: End of the hike and return to transport.
🌅 3 p.m.: Arrival at your accommodation, head full of Berber memories.
⚠️ This excursion is only available in July and August.

Our one day hike trip in details
Start of the hike with 45min scenic drive from Taghazout, Tamraght and Imi Ouaddar.
Possibility to stop to visit an Argan oil Cooperative on the way back.

What you need ?
A good pair of shoes like trainers, comfortable clothing (we recommend to wear sleeves to protect against the sun and/or cold), sunscreen, bathing suit, towel, sunglasses and your water bottle.
