The Ida Outanane Area
An authentic landskape
The Agadir Ida Outanane province is located north-west of the Souss-Massa region, it covers an area of 2 297 km².
It’s bordered by the Essaouira province at north, the Taroudant province at est, the Inezgane - Aît Melloul prefecture at south and the Atlantic ocean at west. It mostly populated around Agadir and along the coast.
Mountains are populated by a lot of Amazigh villages where Amazigh language is spoken (Tachelhit).
Mountains constitute a big part of the Ida Outanane and are part of the Anti Atlas. Between sea and mountains, landscapes are wild and stunningly beautiful. In this region you can observe a lot of Argan trees, these trees can only be find in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco in the all world.
The Agadir Ida Outanane province is also famous of the different varieties of honey you can find. The road going to Imouzzer is called the honey route.

Between ocean and mountains
